Priority of Access
In South Australia, children begin kindergarten at the start of each school year and mid-year (after the July school holidays). If your child’s birthday is before May 1st of the year, they are turning four; they’re eligible to start at the commencement of Term 1. All children who turn four after May 1st and before October 31st can attend kindergarten mid-year. For further information on when your child’s Kindergarten year will commence, please visit www.education.sa.gov.au
